Bid for Sale of one Telescopic Handler

The Mauritius Ports Authority (MPA) intends to sell one Telescopic Handler with accessories, whose particulars are as detailed below: -

In this respect, the MPA invites bids from potential buyers for the purchase of the above equipment on an “as is where is” basis with the following main specifications:

• Max. Capacity: 4,500 Kg
• Max. Lifting Height: 20.8 m

The equipment may be viewed   at the MPA Workshop, Mer Rouge during weekdays from 0800 hours to 1400 hours. For any additional information, the Transport Office may be contacted on phone no. 206 5515/2065511.

Bids, in sealed envelopes, addressed to the Director-General, MPA and clearly marked “Sale of Telescopic Handler” should be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Chief Officers’ Office, 1^st Floor, H. Ramnarain Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis not later than  Wednesday 21 September 2022 at  1400 hours (Local time).  Offers received after the specified closing date and time will not be considered.

Bids should remain valid for a period of 90 daysafter the closing date and be accompanied by a security, in the form of a Bank Cheque equivalent to 10% of the total bid price. Bids not so secured will not be accepted.

The successful bidder shall be required to effect full payment of the quoted sum and arrange to take delivery of the equipment within 5 days from the date of award.

The MPA reserves the right to accept or reject any offer and to cancel the above exercise at any time prior to award without thereby incurring any liability to affected bidder(s).
