INVITATION FOR REGISTRATION OF POTENTIAL SUPPLIERS/CONTRACTORS/CONSULTANTS/SERVICE PROVIDERS

 FOR YEARS 2021 – 2023

 Authorised under Regulation 42 of the Public Procurement Regulations 2008

The Mauritius Ports Authority is currently updating its database of suppliers/ contractors/consultants/service providers who wish to be registered for the supply of goods, services, works and consultancy services.

 

The Supplier Registration Form may be downloaded from the Mauritius Ports Authority’s website, www.mauport.com and duly filled in form along with required scanned documents  should be submitted by email on info@mauport.com  before Friday 5 November 2021 at 16.00 hrs.

Applicants are informed that the registration exercise neither implies any contractual obligation towards them nor entitles them to become exclusive suppliers/ contractors/consultants/service providers for the Mauritius Ports Authority.

The Mauritius Ports Authority reserves the right to look for alternative suppliers, should it deem necessary.

 NOTE:  PRICES SHOULD NOT BE INSERTED IN THE REGISTRATION FORM.

 

Registration of Suppliers on the Government e-Procurement System

Potential suppliers/contractors/consultants/service providers are hereby informed that the e-Procurement System has become mandatory for public sector bodies.

All potential suppliers are kindly requested to register their companies on the e-Procurement Systemas registration is mandatory for a supplier to submit a bid online.

The e-Procurement System (e-PS) hosted at the following web address https://eproc.publicprocurement.govmu.org is a web based application that allows Public Bodies to issue  Invitation for Bids (IFB) and for suppliers to submit bids online.

You may wish to refer to the manual and video available on the “How to?” menu of the e-PS website for information about registration.

It is mandatory for bidders to use a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for encryption/decryption of their bid data and for digital signing of bids. A DSC for the e-Procurement Class can be purchased from the Certification Authority eMudhra through Mauritius Post Ltd by applying online on the website https://www.emudhra.mu/.

The Procurement Policy Office also provides support to the users of e-PS through its dedicated Help Desk operating during business hours. You may contact them for assistance or for requests for training on telephone (+230) 201 – 1530 or email eprocdesk@govmu.org.
