Diplomates/graduates in Land Surveying from the University of Mauritius or the University of Technology or any other recognized institution for their pre-registration training as required under the Land Surveyor's Act 1979 |

The Trainee Surveyors will be working under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager Estate Management and Licensing of the Mauritius Ports Authority |

DUTIES |

|
During the training period, the Trainee Surveyors will be required to inter alia: (a) assist in the plotting and finishing of survey plans; (b) make searches in respect of immovable properties; (c) inspect MPA's Lands and report to the Senior Manager, Estate Management and Licensing; (d) ensure that conditions of leases are complied with; (e) operate the Printing Machine/Plan Plotter in connection with printing of surveys plans; (f) assist the Land Surveyor in hydrographic surveys; and (g) carry out any such other cognate duties. |

The selected Trainee Surveyors will be enlisted on a fixed term contract of two years and will be paid an all-inclusive monthly allowance of Rs 25,525.
