Enlistment of Trainee Surveyors
The MPA is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the enlistment of Trainee Surveyors:

Diplomates/graduates in Land Surveying from the University of Mauritius or the University of Technology or any other recognized institution for their pre-registration training as required under the Land Surveyor's Act 1979 |

DUTIES |

|
During the training period, the Trainee Surveyors will be required to inter alia: (a) assist in the plotting and finishing of survey plans; (b) make searches in respect of immovable properties; (c) inspect MPA's Lands and report to the Senior Manager, Estate Management and Licensing; (d) ensure that conditions of leases are complied with; (e) operate the Printing Machine/Plan Plotter in connection with printing of surveys plans; (f) assist the Land Surveyor in hydrographic surveys; and (g) carry out any such other cognate duties. |

The selected Trainee Surveyors will be enlisted on a fixed term contract of two years and will be paid an all-inclusive monthly allowance of Rs 25,525.

- Candidates should submit their application on the prescribed MPA application form which may be obtained at the Reception Counter of the MPA, Ground Floor, H. Ramnarain Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis. The duly signed forms should be forwarded to the Ag Director General at the above address.

- The closing date for the submission of applications in respect of the above-mentioned enlistment is Friday 26 December 2025.
- Candidates should attach documentary evidence of qualifications and work experience claimed failing which consideration would not be given to the application.
- Only the best qualified candidates will be convened for interview. Late applications will not be considered.
- The Mauritius Ports Authority reserves the right to convene the best qualified candidates for the selection exercise and/ or not to proceed with the above enlistment following this advertisement.
