COMMUNIQUE REGISTRATION OF POTENTIAL SUPPLIERS/CONTRACTORS ON THE GOVERNMENT e-PROCUREMENT SYSTEM (e-PS) The Mauritius Ports Authority hereby informs potential suppliers/contractors/consultants/service providers that the e-Procurement System has become mandatory for public sector bodies, as announced in the Budget Speech 2020/2021 of the Government of Mauritius. In order to improve the speed and efficiency during bidding processes for the procurement of Goods, Works, Consultancy Services and Other Services at the Mauritius Ports Authority, all potential suppliers are kindly requested to register their companies on the e-Procurement System, as registration is mandatory for a supplier to submit a bid online. The e-Procurement System (e-PS) hosted at the following web address https://eproc.publicprocurement.govmu.org is a web based application that allows Public Bodies to issue Invitation for Bids (IFB) and for suppliers to submit bids online. You may wish to refer to the manual and video available on the “How to?” menu of the e-PS website for information about registration. Furthermore, it is mandatory for bidders to use a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for encryption/decryption of their bid data and for digital signing of bids. A DSC for the e-Procurement Class can be purchased from the Certification Authority eMudhra through Mauritius Post Ltd by applying online on the website https://www.emudhra.mu/. In order to initiate suppliers on e-PS, the Procurement Policy Office organises regular training sessions on the e-Procurement System. These training sessions are usually held at the Procurement Policy Office, 8th Floor, E. Anquetil Building, Port Louis, Mauritius, over 2 half days and include a theoretical / demonstration component on the first day followed by a practical session on the second day. The Procurement Policy Office also provides support to the users of e-PS through its dedicated Help Desk operating during business hours. You may contact them for assistance or for requests for training on telephone (+230) 201 – 1530 or email eprocdesk@govmu.org. Mauritius Ports Authority H.
