TENDER NOTICE for the sale of one telescopic handler and one conveyor belt

The Mauritius Ports Authority (MPA) invites bids from potential buyers for the purchase of a Telescopic handler and a Conveyor Belt on an “as is where is” basis.

1. Telescopic Handler with accessories, whose particulars are detailed below: -

2. Conveyor Belt of length 26 m

The Telescopic Handler and the Conveyor Belt may be viewed at the MPA workshop and Aurelie Perrine Building respectively during weekdays from 0800 hours to 1400 hours.  For any additional information, the Transport Officer may be contacted on 206 5515/ 206 5511.

Bids, in sealed envelopes, addressed to the Director-General, MPA and clearly marked “Sale of Telescopic Handler and Conveyor Belt” should be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Chief Officers’ office, 1^st Floor, H. Ramnarain Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis not later than 13 December 2024 at 1400 hours (Local time).  Offers received after the specified closing date and time will not be considered.

Bids should remain valid for a period of 90 days after the closing date and be accompanied by security, in the form of a Bank cheque equivalent to 10% of the total price.  Bids not so secured will not be accepted.

The successful bidder shall be required to effect full payment of the quoted sum and arrange to take delivery of the equipment in five days from the date of award.

The MPA reserves the right to accept or reject any offer and to cancel the above exercise at any prior to award without thereby incurring any liability to affected bidder(s).
